Our Yorkstone quarry is on the West Yorkshire/East Lancashire border and yields both fissile stone and block stone.

Fissile Yorkstone produces riven paving roofing stone and natural bedded wallstone. It is cleaved along the natural bedding plane lines in the rock creating a natural finish.

Block Yorkstone produces sawn paving and masonry pieces. It has a smooth, fine-grained finish and is perfect for carving and accurate stone cutting.

All the stone is from our own Yorkstone quarry and worked on-site by traditional methods.
